SIG-5440 – 4-Port Digital Input I/O Gateway
SIG-5440 is a remote digital input gateway with 4 inputs for monitoring equipment and sensor ON/OFF states via Modbus/TCP. It supports a counter function on each input, up to 4 simultaneous TCP connections, and “Internet Switch” capability for distributed control scenarios. You can monitor it from HMI/SCADA/PLC systems or with Modbus/TCP tools such as the ModMap app.
Key features of the SIG-5440
- • Monitor digital inputs remotely via Modbus/TCP (from HMI/SCADA/PLC or Modbus software).
- • Counter function on each input for pulse/event counting.
- • Supports up to 4 simultaneous TCP connections for multi-client monitoring.
- • Internet Switch support for distributed “input triggers output” style architectures.
- • Free Modbus/TCP tool available (ModMap) for easier multi-device management.
SIG-5440: built for Modbus/TCP digital input monitoring
SIG-5440 exposes digital input states (and counters) to Modbus/TCP clients, so it fits naturally into industrial control stacks. Use it with multiple HMIs/software tools in parallel, or integrate into a central monitoring system.
- • Great for remote alarms, door contacts, machine status and discrete sensors.
- • Use counters for production pulses, flow switches, cycle counts, and similar signals.
