Parking lot Access Sensing

Network capabilities by this device server enable a parking lot entrance controller to be accessible over the network. It helps you keep receiving data of vehicles entering to a parking lot from distance. Once a vehicle enters the parking spot, you would be automatically informed and be able to command to open the parking barrier gate. As a result, you can effectively manage your parking space by controlling the number of vehicles entering the parking lot.

Sollae Systems’ serial Ethernet device server provides a cost-effective network solution for monitoring fire alarm system. Without a remote monitoring system, it costs an extra effort to manage the device. There are usually two different serial ports for network communication in the fire alarm device. An RS485 port for interacting with other fire alarm devices and an RS232 port for checking the signal receiver status. Connect Sollae Systems’ serial Ethernet device server and the alarm device’s serial port. It provides a solution to monitor the signal receiver from distance through LAN.

Outdoor Security System / Security
Motion sensors have been used with alarm systems for many years. In early years, motion sensors were based on ultrasonic technology. Sound waves were emitted from a sensor, and the resulting reflected sounds were analyzed to detect changes. When a change was detected, the motion sensor notified the alarm system’s control panel. These ultrasonic sensors were frequently blamed for false alarm. Today, there are many new technologies to overcome the limitation of ultrasonic technology. The new technology includes motion sensor, infrared light motion detect sensor and more. Microwave sensor is also referred as Doppler microwave sensor which detects movement by using Doppler radar. When there is a trespasser or any motion occurs, the microwave sensor sends a signal to an input port of the remote I/O controller which again sends a signal to the server through network for an alarm.
Remote Access Control System
Access control is a security technique that can be used to regulate who or what can view or use resources in a computing environment. There are two types of access control: physical and logical. Physical access control limits access to campuses, buildings, rooms and physical IT assets. Logical access limits connections to computer networks, system files and data. Here, we will see how Sollae Systems’ products can be utilized in the physical access such as electromagnetic lock for remote control.
Connecting Sollae Systems’ remote I/O controller with Electromagnetic lock (EM Lock), magnetic lock, or mag-lock is an easy way to manage access control from distance. The lock can be an electric locking device for any types of door. EM Lock is applied with time relay and is embedded with door open check such as NC, NO, and COM, users can adjust delay time. EM locks are commonly used on office doors, automatic doors, parking lot access doors, and front door at private residencies for an access control. When you connect the EM Lock’s extension lead to CIE-H12′s output port, for example, the remote controller, remote access control system, is established. Set the status as OFF for normal, and change the status as ON from the Web, when there is in need of access. You may also control via Modbus/TCP or HTTP.

Home security is something applicable to all of us and involves the security hardware in place on a property, and personal security practices. The hardware would be the doors, locks, alarm systems, lighting, motion detectors, and security camera systems that are installed on your property. Here, we will see motion sensors that are used for home security and how Sollae Systems’ products can be applied.
When a sensor (infrared light sensor or outdoor motion sensor) detects movement under a certain setting, Sollae Systems’ remote I/O controller senses a signal contact from the sensor. Then, it sends a signal to integration server for an alert. In this case, Sollae Systems’ remote I/O controller is used as a communication gateway.
Hacking Prevention System
There are many problems involving internet hacking. First, the enormous number of poorly managed machines make things easier for attackers. As the Internet has grown, the average skill level of system administrators has dropped greatly, leaving many systems ripe for the picking by even amateur attackers. Also, the widespread availability of high-speed always-on connections such cable modems and DSL lines connected to home users' systems helps attackers. Remote Pan Tilt Camera Control

Pan tilt camera may be controlled by a joystick. The joystick can zoom in and out to check many things in real time. Usually the joystick uses an RS485 to communicate with a camera. When you connect the joystick with our serial Ethernet converter which supports RS422/RS485, it can control the movement of a camera lens from distance. To do so, you need two units of our devices; one to connect with a camera (slave) and the other to connect with a joystick (master). Master first tries connection and Slave waits to accept the connection with the Master. This way of connection is called multi-drop. It is very convenient to use ezTCP because the communication protocols for the serial devices is in the same set. Under changing the system to LAN communication, you may earn time as well as effective management. Besides, one of our product supports multi-connection. The product, EZL-200F or CSE-M73, can be applied to control more than one pan tilt camera in a remote site with one joystick under the function of 1: N communication.
