CIE-H10G – 8-Port Remote I/O Controller (Modbus/TCP + Web + RS-232)

CIE-H10G is an Ethernet Remote I/O gateway with 8 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs for monitoring ON/OFF signals and switching loads remotely. It supports Modbus/TCP and an embedded web server (HTTP) for browser-based control, plus Macro logic for autonomous operation. Thanks to the built-in RS-232 port, it can also work as a Serial↔Ethernet converter while serving I/O operations.

Remote monitoring & control (Modbus/TCP + HTTP)

Integrate CIE-H10G into industrial environments through Modbus/TCP (SCADA, HMI, PLC, software tools) or operate it directly from a browser via HTTP. The device supports multiple simultaneous TCP connections, making it practical for monitoring from several HMI/software clients at the same time.

  • Works with standard Modbus/TCP clients (and Sollae’s ModMap tool, if you prefer a ready-made app).
  • Embedded web page allows fast testing/operation from a PC or smartphone browser.
  • Supports up to 8 TCP connections simultaneously (depending on configuration).

Internet Switch

Autonomous logic & Internet Switch concept

CIE-H10G can automatically drive outputs based on input states using Macro logic (Boolean operators). For distributed projects, multiple devices can be combined into an “Internet Switch” system—inputs on one unit can control outputs on another over the network.

  • Macro mode supports simple AND/OR/NOT logic to automate output actions.
  • Use as a building block for remote “if-this-then-that” style control across multiple sites/devices.
  • Custom web page upload allows a tailored web UI for operators (branding / simplified controls).
8 opto-isolated inputs
Reliable ON/OFF monitoring for sensors and equipment status. Optional dry-contact adapter can be used for switch/relay inputs.
8 relay outputs (pulse-capable)
Switch loads remotely via network commands. In addition to ON/OFF, outputs can be triggered as timed pulses.
Modbus/TCP integration
Connect to PLC/SCADA/HMI using a widely adopted industrial protocol. Suitable for structured monitoring and control systems.
Web control (HTTP)
Operate and monitor I/O directly from a browser (PC or smartphone). Default page can be replaced with a custom UI.
Macro logic automation
Run simple Boolean logic locally to drive outputs automatically—useful for stand-alone automation without external controllers.
RS-232 + Internet Switch
Use the RS-232 port for Serial↔Ethernet conversion modes while still operating I/O. Combine multiple units for remote “Internet Switch” projects.
