SIG-5560 – Modbus/TCP Temperature Gateway
SIG-5560 is an industrial PT100 temperature sensor gateway that measures temperature from a 3-wire Pt100 RTD sensor, displays it locally on a red 3-digit 7-segment LED, and publishes readings over Modbus/TCP. It’s ideal for remote temperature monitoring from PLC/HMI/SCADA systems or Modbus software/apps.
Key features of the SIG-5560
- • Wide temperature measurement range and high accuracy suitable for industrial monitoring.
- • Local LED display for quick on-site checks, plus remote reading through Modbus/TCP.
- • Stores minimum and maximum temperature values for troubleshooting and reporting.
- • Supports up to 4 simultaneous TCP connections for multi-client monitoring.
- • Internet Switch concept: use thresholds to trigger other Modbus/TCP devices with digital outputs.
Pt100 measurement with local & remote visibility
Connect a 3-wire Pt100 sensor to SIG-5560 and get both an on-device readout (LED display) and remote readings via Modbus/TCP. This is ideal for temperature points that must be verified locally, while still being monitored from a control room.
- • Fast integration into existing Modbus/TCP systems.
- • Min/max capture helps diagnose spikes and intermittent issues.
Threshold-based control with Internet Switch
Configure temperature thresholds and use the Internet Switch concept to drive actions on other Modbus/TCP devices (for example, switching relays when temperature crosses a limit).
- • Useful for simple cooling/heating triggers and alarm outputs.
- • Supports a 1-bit ADC trigger function for Internet Switch scenarios.

NOTE: SIG-5560 device supports the PT100 sensors that has the measurement range of -200℃ ~ 850℃ (-328℉ ~ 1562℉). But the measurement range depends on the PT100 sensor. We provide a PT100 sensor that has the measurement range of -50℃ ~ +200℃ as an option. If users need a larger range, use another PT100 sensor.
