SIG-5430 – 4-Port Analog Input I/O Gateway
SIG-5430 is a remote analog input gateway with 4 channels for collecting data from analog sensors and sending it to HMI/data centers via Modbus/TCP. Each channel supports voltage (0–5V) and current (4–20mA / 0–20mA) measurement and converts signals to a 12-bit ADC value (0–4095). It also supports a 1-bit ADC function for two-state logic and “Internet Switch” style triggering.
Key features of the SIG-5430
- • Read 4 analog channels and expose values to Modbus/TCP clients (HMI/SCADA/software tools).
- • Select per-channel measurement mode: voltage (0–5V) or current (4–20mA / 0–20mA).
- • Converts analog signals to 12-bit ADC values (0–4095) for precise reading.
- • 1-bit ADC mode supports two-state logic (e.g., hot/cool, dry/wet) and Internet Switch triggering.
- • Supports up to 4 simultaneous TCP connections; free Modbus/TCP tool available (ModMap).
Analog monitoring with optional two-state trigger mode
Use SIG-5430 for continuous measurement (12-bit ADC) or switch to 1-bit ADC mode when you want a simple two-state interpretation. This can be used for remote trigger-style workflows (Internet Switch) where the analog sensor acts like a digital condition.
- • Continuous value monitoring for trending and analytics via Modbus/TCP.
- • Two-state logic for “good/bad” or “dry/wet” style decisions and remote triggering.
