SCG-5608 is 8-port RS232 Serial to Ethernet converter. The device converts data from the Serial port to TCP or UDP and vice versa. It is designed to work in an industrial environment.

With SCG-5608, users can easily monitor the status of console ports over the network from anywhere in the world. It also helps to save time and energy by improving the efficiency of integrated management and control of many devices in diverse applications. SCG-5608 supports TLS v1.2 security protocol, which encrypts data before sending it over the network. This allows SCG-5608 to exchange data over the Internet securely. The device also supports various features such as Separator settings and TELNET COM Port Control Option (RFC2217).

SCG-5608 is equipped with two power ports: a DC 5V power input through DC jack, and a wide range (DC8.5V ~ 38V) power input through Terminal block. You can also use both of them simultaneously, one for the main power source and one for a backup power source, to make it work seamless even during the main power outage.

SCG-5608 can be applied in communication environments such as Secure Communication, Remote Console Monitoring, etc.
